Text Box: The SCC Spring Carnival & Supper was well attended and a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who donated items for the meal, cakes for the cake walk and worked in the kitchen. We really appreciate your help and support. The SCC uses this money to support projects and classroom needs throughout the year. The final meeting of this school year will be Tuesday, May 15 at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria. There will be a fundraiser company presenting their products & bringing samples for the possible fall fundraiser. Please try to attend if possible. We need everyone’s help!

Text Box: When is the last day of school? Students attend classes on Thursday, May 17 and will be dismissed at 1:50 p.m. That is the last day of regular attendance. Teacher Institute day is Friday, May 18. Report cards may be picked up beginning on Monday, May 21 - May 31 in the office during office hours. Report cards will not be mailed out. Lunch accounts should be paid up, all library books and textbooks should be returned to clear accounts before the end of the year. Lunch account balances will be carried over to the next year. There is no summer school program this year.

Looking ahead to next year? Registration Day is August 7. The first day of student attendance is August 16, 2012. Immunizations and physicals must be up-to-date before students attend classes on the first day. Who needs exams?

· Physicals given within 1 year before Aug. 16 are needed by students entering Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade 6. (Physicals will be conducted at school in August. Additional information will be given at registration.)

· Immunizations are needed for students entering Kindergarten. Students entering Grade 6 need a Tdap vaccine which is a new requirement for this fall.

· Vision exam to enter Kindergarten.

· Dental exam to enter Kindergarten, Grade 2 and Grade 6. (The mobile dentists will be at school in September to offer exams. Additional information will be given at registration.)
