Multimedia Productions
8th Grade English
Students in Mr. Gibson's 8th Grade English classes did their first video productions in February. Each student picked out a dandy of a "dad joke," and got to sit in front of the green screen and deliver it. All students took turns learning to operate the TV Control Unit, and then worked individually on editing their videos on the desktop computers in the library. All in all, they had a good time learning digital video production skills that will serve them well in their future presentations at Brownstown CUSD and beyond.

Media Studies
Juniors and Seniors in Mr. Gibson's Media Studies Class produced Audio PSA's in the recording studio. After completion, these were shared with several regional radio stations. Keep your ears open while listening to your favorite station, and you just might hear one or more of them! In case you don't, however, click the links below to check them out.

For a recent video production project in Media Studies, Caleb and Cooper decided to interview Mr. Harms. I didn't know they were putting him in an interrogation room . . .

Students in Mr. Gibson's English I classes did their first video productions in February. Each student wrote an answer to the question, "Should young adults be allowed to watch and listen to true crime broadcasts." Then, they sat in front of the green screen and delivered their responses on camera. All students took turns learning to operate the TV Control Unit, and then worked individually on editing their videos on the desktop computers in the library. All in all, they had a good time learning digital video production skills that will serve them well in their future presentations at Brownstown CUSD and beyond.
