Ag classes are competing in the Career Development Events (CDE's) Olympics today! Teams are exploring the following contests:
Dairy Quality and Products, Meat Evaluation, Poultry Evaluation, Horse Evaluation, Food Science, Soils, Agronomy, Floriculture, Ag Mechanics, and Landscape and Nursey Management!

We are still practicing our soccer skills! Here are some pictures of the kids playing Soccer Minefield. They practiced dribbling the soccer ball without knocking over the pins. They are improving their soccer skills everyday!

We started soccer this week in PE! Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade practiced dribbling a soccer ball by playing Spaghetti & Meatballs. They had a blast!





Mrs. Hoffman's Kindergarten Class learned about using their letter sounds to label their ideas and pictures by practicing on Mrs. Hoffman! Students would pick something on Mrs. Hoffman to label, sound out the words with the letters they know, and then 'labeled' Mrs. Hoffman with Post-It Notes!

2021 EIC Baseball Regular Season & Tournament Champions!


The JH Girls Basketball Team grabbed a few trophies last night in Vandalia. The 7th Grade Girls won the 7th Grade Old Capital Classic Tournament while the 8th Graders placed 2nd in the 8th Grade Division.


Second graders painted while listening to upbeat music in Art class this week. They were dancing, and even singing along, while they created their masterpieces!

Brownstown CUSD 201- The soft-lockdowns at BES and the Jr/Sr Hs have been lifted. Once again, this action was taken out of an abundance of caution in the interest of safety of students and staff.
