The BSE High School Girls Basketball team will be playing in the Championship game of the Dietrich Holiday Tournament on Saturday Dec 28th at 6:00pm @ Dietrich High School. Any Brownstown or St Elmo High School student that attends will have their admission paid for thanks to the Brownstown/St Elmo Sports Boosters! Mrs Sefton will be at the table to pay your way in! Our BES student council sponsored the caring and sharing food drive again this year. Our students surpassed their goal and brought in 1650 food items!! Our top two classes were Mrs. Stinebring third grade class and Miss Lett's PM PreK class with bringing in 302 items each! Way to go BES - you really know how to " Bring It!"
The JH Girls Basketball Award Ceremony was held on Wed, Dec 18th @ Iron's in Vandalia.

The 1st Bombers Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Thursday January 9th between the JV and Varsity High School Girls Basketball Game. (approx. 7:00pm) Come out and see who will be the inaugural class inducted into our newly established Hall of Fame!
Congrats Avree Strobel; She is our Illinois State Scholar! Avree, along with other students nationwide, represents the top 10 percent of our students in the country. And even though there is no monetary award, it is an award that can be listed on college applications and other scholarships that distinguishes these students as the "best of the best."
