Mrs. Boaz's English 3 class deeply delved into Jack London's classic short story To Build a Fire. This gripping tale of survival in the Yukon served as the backdrop for a creative and hands-on activity aimed at exploring themes of determination and ingenuity. After reading and discussing the story, students were tasked with an unusual challenge: to write their names without using their hands. Just as the protagonist in London’s story must overcome physical limitations and think creatively to survive, the students had to rely on their resourcefulness and perseverance to complete the task. Great job, Mrs. Boaz and English 3 students, for thinking outside the box and bringing Jack London's story to life in such a unique way! 🚀

The juniors participated in a career exploration unit in the last few weeks. They took a career interest assessment, researched their career and listened to a few career speakers. Students who answered the most questions, won t-shirts. The Seniors are in the process of creating their FAFSA ID's for financial aid.
